  • Good Life Wellness Glycine (Amino Acid) 200g

Glycine is an important amino acid naturally found in muscle tissue, connective tissue and skin. Amino acids serve as building blocks for protein.

Glycine is one of three amino acids your body uses to product glutathione, a powerful antioxidant.

Glycine is used by your body to produce creatine, a compound that provides muscles with energy for short bursts of power.

Suggested use: 2g to 8g (about 1/4 to 1 heaped tsp) daily mixed with water or other beverage. Add to yogurt, oatmeal, desserts and baked goods.

Glycine is naturally sweet and can be mixed into any liquid – coffee, tea, smoothies – as a sugar alternative. A 1/4 tsp may be sufficient for a hint of sweetness. Adjust amount to suit your personal preferences.

Glycine is the main amino acid in collagen, the most abundant protein in your body, supporting healthy skin, muscles, bone, and ligaments. Optimal collagen turnover requires a steady supply of glycine daily.

  • Sally Ann Creed Hydrolysed Marine Collagen 250g

    Hydrolysed Marine Collagen

Marine collagen is a great source of type 1 collagen, which is the most common collagen type in the body. Type 1 collagen helps to build and maintain skin, bones, tendons, ligaments, hair and nails.

There is a lot of research about marine collagen being extracted from jellyfish, sharks, sea cucumber and other marine animals, which can make one skeptical about the origins of their collagen. We are proud to say that our marine collagen is sourced from 100% wild caught, marine whitefish, and it is Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) certified at source. This means that our marine collagen is sourced from fisheries that meet the MSC standard in terms of management, best practice and sustainability. Our Hydrolysed Marine Collagen is low in both calcium and sodium, with only 7mg per 100g of calcium and 310mg total sodium per 100g. This sodium content is due to the natural nature of hydrolysed collagen, and is not from any additional sodium being added to the product.

Suggested use: Take 1 – 2 scoops / TBSP per day in water or a hot or cold beverage (1 scoop = 15ml = 5g)
