    Barley is by its nature wheat-free. Cereal products are naturally high in energy. These barley flakes are made from whole grain barley kernels. They can be used as an alternative to rolled oats.

     

    Suggested use: Barley flakes can be added to muesli or used in baking. For a delicious porridge: Add 1 cup barley flakes to 3 cups boiling water, reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes. Suggestion: Serve with honey, milk and chopped nuts.
